Junior Producer

We’re looking for an approachable, super organised Digital Producer with excellent communications skills.

What you’d be doing

The Junior Producer serves as the primary coordinator and communicator for our existing accounts’ retainers + projects. As a Producer, you’ll collaborate with team members in both creative and technical roles and provide unique oversight and awareness between team members and the client.

The producer is an effective communicator and organiser who can eliminate obstacles, maintain a realistic view of complex digital initiatives, and manage the entire process.

At Tundra, our Producers work together to oversee a range of digital projects including website strategy, website design and development, content design, user research, and digital media including videos, email marketing.


Typical activities

  • Coordinating projects including the management of team, client and account administration.

  • Following our established project management procedures from start to finish of the project.

  • Take briefs from clients and foster long-lasting relationships with them.

  • Contribute to the sales and quoting process with the production team.

  • Defining, scoping and estimating projects.

  • Preparing project documentation, including project SoWs, timelines and budget reports.

  • Scheduling of team members and managing workflows.

  • Monitoring the progress of team members in order to track progress and to unblock impediments.

  • Reporting weekly and monthly to stakeholders with project updates and status reports, ensuring our projects are delivered within allocated timeframes and budget.

  • Presenting work to stakeholders for sign-off.

  • Running both internal and client meetings to guide projects and share work-in-progress

  • Managing Craft websites and support with content entry, user testing and UAT when needed.

  • Coordinating with the production team to guarantee the workflow, documentation, and studio standards are being upheld.

The skills we are looking for

To be successful as a Junior Producer candidate, we’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic person with experience in digital, agency or in a coordinator role.

  • 2+ years experience working in a Coordinator role, overseeing digital and / or marketing projects preferably in an agency environment.
  • Strong client communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft or Google products such as Word / Docs, Excel / Sheets, Powerpoint / Slides etc.
  • Excellent organisational skills: You need to be highly organised to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to a high standard whilst keeping all parties updated and ensuring project administration and billing is completed.
  • Stakeholder management: You need to be able to translate very technical terminology to non-digital stakeholders.
  • Budget management: You need to be able to provide cost estimates, quotations and budgets for projects.
  • Resource management: You need to identify and appoint the correct resource and brief them.
  • Multitasking: You need to be comfortable managing a range of different projects with multiple design and development teams and stakeholders, so you need to be able to prioritise tasks and stay calm under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing + communications, business, IT or relevant field desirable.
